She says, “I have encountered the most support from lesbian comedians. I find the camaraderie extraordinary!” In 2008, she was nominated for ECNY’s “Best Female Standup Comedian” award and received the “Joke of the Year” honor from Time Out New York . The hilarious and often disarming comedian says audience members sometimes don't believe she’s gay. “I will come off stage and be asked ‘You're not really a lesbian, are you? You just do it for the act?’ But then they see my girlfriend and they realize, yes, I am a lesbian!” –CB Remember, these are in no particular order because we love them all!
